EasyGeorgian arrives on the App Store and Google Play with offline downloads

EasyGeorgian is now available as a native app on the App Store and Google Play. The app is free to download and carries the full platform: the audio course, the listening course, the citizenship exam prep course and more than 9,000 flashcards.

The headline feature is the most requested one in the platform’s history: offline downloads. Audio lessons and flashcard decks can be saved to the phone and studied without a signal, on a flight, in the mountains, or on the Tbilisi metro. Offline study is real study: reviews are graded, streaks hold, and everything syncs automatically the next time the phone is online.

Existing learners sign in with their current account and find everything they own already there. Purchases and progress carry across web, iPhone and Android, so a lesson started in the browser can be finished on the phone.

“Georgian learners kept asking us for two things, an app icon and offline lessons,” says Lasse. “Both are here now, and the promise stays the same: buy a course once and it is yours, on every device you own.”

A free account includes the first audio lesson, the first listening episode, the 56-minute alphabet video and the first 100 cards of the 5,000-word flashcard deck. The app supports iPhone and iPad on iOS 16.4 or newer and Android phones and tablets on Android 8.0 or newer. The web version continues to work everywhere a browser runs.
