Most of us know the friend. They have lived in Tbilisi for a year, or three, or six. They get by. Every few months they say some version of the same sentence: “I really should properly learn Georgian, not just hello and thank you.” Then nothing happens.
If you use EasyGeorgian, you have probably already mentioned it to that friend. Now there is a reason for both of you to do something about it. We have added a refer-a-friend program: your friend gets a discount, and you earn credit for every friend who starts.
How refer-a-friend works
It is simple. Once you have finished your first lesson in any EasyGeorgian course, a personal referral code appears in your account. That code is yours to share.
When a friend uses your code, they get 10% off. That works on the audio course, the podcast course, the $139.95 bundle, and even on a gift purchase.
When that friend buys, you earn $15 in credit. You can do this up to three times, so three friends means $45 in credit.
Your credit sits in your account until you want it. When you are ready, you turn it into a discount coupon and use it on anything we make: a second course for yourself, the bundle, a gift for someone else, or an EasyGeorgian Pro subscription.
A worked example. Say you bought the bundle, and two friends use your code for the audio course. They each pay $71.96 instead of $79.95. You end up with $30 in credit, most of the way to a third course or a gift for someone back home.
Why we built it this way
A recommendation from a friend who actually uses the thing is worth more than any ad we could run. We would rather put that value back into the hands of the people already telling their friends about us.
There is also something true about learning a hard language near someone you know. Georgian is real work, and starting alone makes it easy to quietly stop. A friend who started the same week, who is a few lessons ahead or behind, who you can compare notes with, is a quiet kind of accountability. It is not the whole reason the program exists, but it is a good side effect.
Where to find your referral code
Your referral code lives in the app, in your account settings. Look for the refer-a-friend card.
One thing to know: the code unlocks after you complete your first lesson. That is deliberate. We would rather you recommend the course once you have actually used it and know whether it is any good. If you have been a customer for a while and completed lessons, your code is already waiting.
Sharing it is the easy part. Send the code to the friend who keeps saying they should learn Georgian. They get 10% off. You get $15 when they start. And the next time it comes up, the answer to “I really should learn Georgian” is already sitting in their inbox.
